BASKETBALL
TEAM Basketball, a Rochester Hills-based AAU boys that 7th and 8th grade boys tryouts are Jan. 9 at Van Hoosen Middle School (7th grade from 5-7 p.m. and 8th grade 7-9 p.m.). Second tryout will be on Jan. 16 (same times and place). SOCCER
The Rochester Select Soccer club has opening for five players on a 15U boys soccer team. Players from all schools are welcome to try out. For details contact coach Brian Fitzgerald at brianfishbone@gmail.com.
