Clarkston rolls over West Bloomfield; Farmington drops Oxford

WEST BLOOMFIELD — Clarkston built a 23-20 lead at the half and held on for a 60-50 OAA Red Division triumph over West Bloomfield to move into third place in the division.

Nick Tatu led the Wolves (7-4, 4-2) with 19n points. Matt Dellinger scored 13, Marcus Hardy added 12 points and Mitch Baenziger chipped in with eight points for Clarkston, which hled a 35-30 scoring edge in the second half..

Spencer Parker was held to 14 points for West Bloomfield (7-3, 4-2). Nick Leventis added 12 points for the Lakers.

FARMINGTON 79, OXFORD 63: Chris Hare broke loose from thee-point range in leading the Falcons to the OAA blue Division victory over Oxford. Hare twined five long-distance bombs and nailed eight overall field goals for 21 points in the win. Tyler Johnson scored nine and both Jason Willson and DeJaun Rhoades finished with eight points for Farmington (5-6, 3-3), which finished just 9-for-20 from the free throw line.

Mark Hazelwood scored 19 points, including four 3-pointers, for Oxford (4-5, 3-4). Chris Calvin added 14 points, Jacques Toussaint added nine points and Vincent Hailburton scored eight for the Wildcats, who fell behind 25-10 after the first quarter and could never fully recover.

Farmington led 44-27 at the half and 55-38 through three quarters.

BERKLEY 64, TROY ATHENS 60: the first time these two teams played, the Bears posted a blowout victory of more than 30 points,. This time Berkley had to sweat it out.

Ryan Bush finished with 23 points and Justin Puguese added 17 points for Berkley, which trailed 24-15 after the first quarter and 38-30 at the half.

The Bears outsocred Athens 34-22 in the second half.

Jake Duzey led Athens with 19 points. Caleb McIntosh added 11 points and Alex Faubel scored eight for the Red Hawks.

WATERFORD OUR LADY OF THE LAKES 65, ALLEN PARK CABRINI 55: The Lakers knocked of the CHSL-leaders from Allen Park with this 10-point win.

Garrett Ross scored 28 and Austin Karbowski added  25 for WOLL (8-3, 4-1), which led 35-26 at the half and outscored Cabrini 30-29 in the second half.

Mike Sombati scored 25 for Cabrini and Chris Hicks added 10 points.
