Adams rebounds for win over Seaholm; Oakland Christian remains unbeaten

Rochester Adams snapped a four-game losing streak Tuesday, earning a 69-60 road victory over Birmingham Seaholm.

Andrew Hammett scored 16 points and Mario Roveda added 12 points for Adams (7-6, 5-5).

Shawn Conway scored a game-high 21 points for Seaholm (3-10, 2-9).

AUBURN HILLS OAKLAND CHRISTIAN 69, LUTHERAN WESTLAND 46: The Lancers remained perfect on the year with this 23-point win Tuesday in MIAC Blue Division play. Drew Perin scored 15 points to lead Oakland Christian (12-0, 9-0).

CLARKSTON EVEREST COLEGIATE 45, RIVERVIEW GABRIEL RICHARD 30: Richie Cross drained a trio of three-pointers and finished with 13 points to pace Everest to the CHSL win Tuesday. Donald Allen and Patrick Nalepa added six points apiece. Noah Smykowski scored 12 for Richard. Everest blew a 12-11 game open with a 33-19 run in the second half.

ROCHESTER HILLS CHRISTIAN 75, FLINT CHASE HOME SCHOOL 66 (OT): DJ Szydlowski scored 16 points to go along with seven rebounds and four steals to lead Rochester Hills to this non-conference win. The Eagles outscored Chase 9-0 in overtime. Josh West scored 17 points and Marquez Hatcher contributed 14 points for Rochester Hills Christian (12-8). Jad Detlaft scored a game-high 27 points and Jeremie LaBelle added 18 points for Chase, which closed regulation with a 17-13 run to force overtime.

ROCHESTER 60, BLOOMFIELD HILLS LAHSER 42: Rochester took control of the OAA Blue Division race with this lopsided win Tuesday on the road. Taylor Perry scored a career-high 35 points to lead Rochester (9-4, 7-1).

AUBURN HILLS CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 53, PORT HURON LANDMARK ACADEMY 29: Austin Taylor scored 19 points to lead Auburn Hills Christian to this ISAC win.

ALLEN PARK INTER-CITY BAPTIST 56, ROCHESTER HILLS LUTHERAN NORTHWEST 39: Nathan Drews scored 12 points to lead Northwest to this MIAC Blue Division win. Mike Miller added nine points for the Crusaders (6-6, 4-4). Nathan Packwood had 12 points to lead Inter-City Baptist (8-4, 5-3).

WATERFORD OUR LADY OF THE LAKES 57, DETROIT CRISTO REY 47: Garrett Ross finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds in this CHSL win. Austin Karbowski added 18 points and four assists for WOLL (10-3).

TROY ATHENS 62, OXFORD 49: Lonnie Bolden scored 18 points and George Zachery, recently back from an injury, added 15 points for Athens in this OAA crossover contest in Oxford.. Mark Hazelwood scored a game-high 25 points for Oxford (5-8, 3-5), but no other player reached double figures for the Wildcats.

SOUTHFIELD 84, LAKE ORION 57: This OAA crossover wasn’t close, as the Bluejays picked up the 27-point win at home. Carlton Brundidge had 22 points to lead Southfield (9-4). Justin Walukonis scored 11 points for Lake Orion (3-9).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

OXFORD 55, OAK PARK 36: Michelle Gilmore and Shelby Davis each had 10 points in a total team effort, with all 10 of our girls playing quality extended minutes in this OAA White Division win Tuesday for the Wildcats (3-11, 3-6).

“This was a great way to cap off our back to back games. Our press really wore them down and led us to a 26-9 halftime lead, and we kept playing hard and won the second half. It was also great to get good minutes from all 10 players,” said Oxford coach Al Poynter.

ROCHESTER HILLS CHRISTIAN 38, STERLING HEIGHTS PARKWAY CHRISTIAN 33: Megan Steiner and Jane Crile both collected double doubles in the Eagles non-league win Tuesday. Steiner had 12 points and 12 rebounds and Crile added 10 points and 10 rebounds for RHC, which improved to 16-1 on the season. Allise Dubay added eight points, three assists and five steals. Jade Sills scored 12 for Parkway Christian (10-5).
