FRIDAY’S GIRLS BASKETBALL: Rochester Hills Christian clinches first league title since 2000

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — Rochester Hills Christian clinched a title for its first girls basketball league championship since the fall of 2000 Friday, topping Clinton Township Faith Christian, 38-23 in a Fundamental Baptist Athletic Conference Red Division contest.

The Eagles (17-1, 7-0) share the crown in 2000 with Clarkston Springfield Christian. Rochester Hills still has a make-up contest against six-time defending conference champion Troy Bethany Christian pending.

Allise Dubay led RHC with 10 points, seven steals and six rebounds. Megan Steiner and Caroline Milsk both added nine points apiece for the Eagles.

Emily Hinsenkamp had 15 points for Faith Christian (9-4, 4-4).

OXFORD 55, OAK PARK 36: Oxford had little problems with Oak Park in this OAA White Division matchup.

Michelle Gilmore had 10 points and seven assists and Shelby Davis added 10 points for the Wildcats (3-11, 3-6).
