Clarkston, Troy split softball twinbill

TROY — Clarkston and Troy wrapped up the OAA Red Division softball season Wednesday with a double-header split in Troy.

Clarkston won the opener 9-1, with the host Colts earning a win in the nightcap, 11-1.

Shauna Siwicki went 2-for-4 with an RBI and Liz Zezula finished 4-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored in the opener for the Wolves (20-8, 10-4).

Sally Muller collected two hits in the first game for Troy (13-11, 8-6).

In the nightcap, Cori Mittelbrun finished 3-for-4 and drove in five runs and Lynsey Mukomel was 2-for-3 with three RBI for the Colts. Jesse Pappas was 2-for-3 and drove in two more runs for Troy.

For Clarkston, Siwicki finished 2-for-3 in Game 2.
