Dieters, Spindler lead area netters on All-State tennis list

Kelsey Dieters had one of the more successful careers of any female high school tennis player in recent years in Michigan and the recent graduate of Rochester High School continued that by heading up the Michigan High School Tennis Coaches Association All-State Teams.
Dieters, the 2011 Miss Tennis, headed for Ohio State, leads 10 area stars from the www.northoaklandsports.com coverage region to make the All-State list in one of the state’s four divisions.
Division 1 state champion Clarkston had the most representatives from the NOS coverage region on the list, sending six players to the list. Troy had three players and Rochester one.
Joining Dieters, a senior at No.1 singles, on the Division 1 All-State Singles list were Clarkston junior Gabriella Spindler (No. 1 singles), freshman Lexi Baylis (No. 2 singles) and junior Katie Brozovich (No. 3 singles).
On the D-1 singles All-State Honorable Mention list was Clarkston senior Lisa Lucas (No. 4 singles) and Troy senior Kelly Forman (No. 1 singles).
On the D-1 All-State Doubles First Team were Clarkston freshman twins Dana Olsen and Paige Olsen, both who played No. 1 doubles for the Wolves. Troy senior Kara Collins and sophomore Hope Keating also made the D-1 All-State First Team list.
