EDITOR’S NOTEBOOK: From sports terminology to bands … There’s plenty to catch on stage

| August 31, 2011 | Comments (0)

The arena of sports is full of millions of catch phrases, terminologies, rules, regulations and analogies. Anyone that follows sports on any level can think of dozens, if not hundreds, right off the top of their head.

So, we’re going to have fun with this.

Since sports and music often go hand-and-hand, what if all of these catches phrases, terminologies, regulations, analogies and rules were transformed into artists names for bands, groups, duos orchestras, rappers or other stars out there?

Some are a downright perfect fit. Some are downright cheesy. But they sound legit.

The staff at NOS came up with the list over the weekend. Sorry if any of these terms have already been claimed by some band, duo, group, musician or rapper anywhere in this universe. No harm meant!

Read through the List. Laugh a little, rip on it, and feel free to register and comment on the comment board on the bottom of this story, or any other of the thousands of links on this digital publication.
