Colts regroup to blank North Farmington
TROY — One day after suffering its first loss of the season, Troy bounced back and accomplished what it does best: record a shutout win.
The Colts toppled visiting North Farmington, 2-0, in an OAA Crossover game to move to 8-1-0 on the year. Troy had now pitched seven shutouts and surrendered only three goals in nine games.
Jason Leslie put Troy on the board in the first half off an assist from Ian Fox. In the second half, Jacob Meissner added an insurance tally off a pass from A.J. Kalina.
Backup goaltender Craig Duggan gained his first shutout of the season.
North Farmington slipped to 0-6-1 on the season.
