ROCHESTER HILLS — Since girls swimming and diving began in the Rochester district in the mid-1970s, Rochester Adams has held the upper hand on its chief rival, Rochester.

The Highlanders continued that edge on the Falcons 111-75 in a OAA crossover meet Tuesday at Adams.

The Highlanders (6-1) won nine of 12 events and all three relays to dunk the Falcons (3-3).

Bianca Tiberio won both the 500 free (5:28.00) and 100 backstroke (1:04.49) to pace Adams. Kristen Finney won the 200 freestyle (2:01.67), Alexa Graf the 50 free (26.72), Krystal Karas the 100 free (55.70) and Corrinne Calhoun the 100 breaststroke (1:19.83) for the Highlanders.

Adams also won the 200 medley relay (2:02.49), 200 free relay (1:47.90) and 400 free relay (3:57.20).

Haley Ludwig won both the 200 IM (2:22.79) and 100 butterfly (1:04.11) for Rochester. Lauren Reedy added a win in the diving event (244.40 points).
