THURSDAY’S PREP ROUNDUP: Clarkston rolls North Farmington

CLARKSTON — Behind another dominating effort, Clarkston inched closer to another OAA Red Division title.

The Wolves rolled past North Farmington Thursday with a 64-44 triumph.

Dylan Hancook scored a career-high 19 points, the same total of Nick Tatu, who canned five three-pointers, to lead the Wolves. Jordan Dasuqi added eight points, Mitch Baenziger scored seven and both Alan Kamieniecki and Chance Huth scored six apiece for Clarkston (13-2, 8-0).

Jeron Rogers and Dorrell Foster both scored 13 for North Farmington (10-6, 5-3).

Clarkston led 29-19 at the half, before outscoring the Raiders 21-15 in the third quarter for a 50-34 lead. The Wolves held a 14-10 edge in the fourth quarter.
TROY ATHENS 63, BIRMINGHAM SEAHOLM 60 (OT): Athens had to work overtime Thursday in order to gain the OAA Red Division win.

Athens outscored Seaholm 8-5 in overtime for the win.

The Red Hawks outscored Seaholm 29-21 in the first half. The Maples outscored Athens34-26 in the second half.

Tim Freiman scored a season-high 16 points to lead the Red Hawks. Caleb McIntosh and Jeff Koch scored 10 apiece, John Van Hoef scored nine and Tim Shayoka chipped in with eight points apiece for Athens (11-4, 3-3).

Paris Bass scored 29 points for Seaholm (8-7, 2-4).
