BOYS LACROSSE: Clarkston soars past rival Lake Orion
CLARKSTON — There is a sizable difference between the OAA Red Division and the OAA White Division leaders in boys lacrosse.
Clarkston, which has already clinched the OAA –Red title, soared past Lake Orion Saturday night with a 16-2 OAA crossover victory. Lake Orion is currently in the OAA-White lead.
Clarkston (12-2-0) raced out to a 7-0 lead after the first quarter and led 11-0 at the break. The Wolves pushed the lead to 14-1 through three quarters of play before holding a 2-1 edge in the fourth quarter.
Travis Craft led Clarkston with five goals and three assists. Jordan Kincaid added three goals, Kevin Horton supplied two goals and two assists and Kevin O’Grady also tallied two goals for the Wolves, who collected 32 shots during the contest.
