Four local stars selected for MHSBCA All-Star baseball game

DETROIT — One last time in a high school uniform.

Four local players have been selected to play in the annual Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game. The contest will be plated for June 26 at 7 p.m. at Comerica Park in Detroit.

Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest’s Chad Cook, Troy Athens’ Tommy Eng, Rochester Stoney Creek’s Anthony Gonzalez and Auburn Hills Avondale’s A.J. Susick have all been selected to participate in this year’s event. Each of them will represent the East squad.

Tickets for this game are $5 and available at the gate on Tuesday. Kids under 12 that dress in their youth baseball uniforms will get into the event free of charge.
