FOOTBALL: WOLL outlasts Britton-Deerfield in defensive struggle
WATERFORD — Lucas Neme caught a 63-yard pass from Sal Mastromatteo in the second quarter and Spencer Howell’s extra point helped carry Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes to a 10-6 non-conference football victory Saturday over visiting Britton-Macon-Deerfield.
Howell gave WOLL a 3-0 lead with a 28-yard field goal in the first quarter.
BMD took the lead when Dylan Sabo scored on a 4-yard run in the second frame.
Neither team could score in the second half.
