BOYS SOCCER: Lutheran Northwest, Lake Orion, Everest climb to win column

PLYMOUTH — Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest climbed above the five-hundred mark with a 2-0 MIAC Blue Division shutout of host Plymouth Christian Thursday.

Ontonio McDonald scored both goals in leading the attack. Philip Rynearson made 15 saves for Lutheran Northwest (4-3, 2-0).

LAKE ORION 3, ROYAL OAK 1: Lake Orion captured its second straight win with this OAA White Division triumph over the Ravens.

Allen Karrip and Justin Anderson notched a goal and an assist apiece to lead Lake Orion (2-4-2, 1-2-0). Brandon Ruzs also scored for the Dragons and Gre Thelen made five saves.

Kenny Vincent tallied for Royal Oak (2-8-0, 0-3-0).

CLARKSTON EVEREST COLLEGIATE 2, RIVERVIEW GABRIEL RICHARD 1: Adam Legg scored off an Alex Mattise pass midway through the second half to lead the Mountaineers to this CHSL-Intersectional Division win.

Javier Perpinan converted a penalty kick in the first half for Everest (4-2-0, 1-0-0).Steven Scott made 12 saves for the Mountaineers.
