BOYS SOCCER: Stoney Creek doubles up Clarkston; Oxford blanks Ferndale

ROCHESTER HILLS — For the first time this season, the opposition scored two goals in one game on Rochester Stoney Creek.

The Cougars made sure their offense was still firing on all cylinders.

Stoney Creek continued one of its best stats in school, history Tuesday, moving to 9-1-5 overall with a 4-2 victory over visiting Clarkston in OAA Red division boys soccer play.

Scott Alampi scored early in the second half, giving him 10 goals and 10 assists on the season, to pace the Cougars. (2-0-2 league play).

Calek Tayloe, Billy Kobus and Adam Anderson also scored for Stoney Creek. Nick Marn assisted on two goals and Fedrico Kulyekuj also had an assist for the Cougars.

Brad Schultz had an unassisted goal in each half for Clarkston.

OXORD 6, FERNDALE 0: Connor Bandel did not have to wrk much Tuesday night to gain the shutout. The freshman goalkeeper from Oxford saw his team post a lopsided 11-s shots advantage against Ferndale and coast to an 6-0 OAA Blue Division triumph over the Eagles.

Chase Garavaglia had two goals to lead trhe Wildcats. Tommy Downs, Jacob Wysocki, Joseph Hurford and Noah Skrzycki also scored and Garry Knox drew three assists for visiting Oxford (5-4-1).
