TUESDAY’S GIRLS BASKETBALL: Adams rolls over Andover; Notre Dame Prep, Stoney Creek cruise

ROCHESTER HILLS — As the defending OAA white Division champions, Rochester Adams has proven that they will not relinquish its title without a fight.

The Highlanders won their third straight league game Tuesday with a 52-38 victory over visiting Bloomfield Hills Andover.

Raiven Owusu scored 13 points to pace the Highlanders (3-1, 3-0). Amber Jamison recorded a double-double with 12 points and 18 rebounds and Katie Milke provided 12 points and 10 boards of her own for the Highlanders.

Shannon Wilson scored a game-high 23 points for Andover.

PONTIAC NOTRE DAME PREP 55, ST. CLAIR SHORES LAKEVIEW 31: Katherine Carlson scored 11 points and Megan Kraus added 10 points for Notre Dame Prep (2-0). Sarah Moen and Sam Bullaro scored eight points apiece for Lakeview (2-2).

ROCHESTER STONEY CREEK 46, TROY 39: Maria Zandi led Stoney Creek with 16 points for Stoney Creek, which remained unbeaten at 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the OAA Red Division with this road win Tuesday.  Rachael Zelmanski scored 14 points for Troy (1-4, 0-2 OAA Red).

CLARKSTON 47, AUBURN HILLS AVONDALE 31: Erika Davenport scored 24 points and added 16 rebounds in leading the Wolves to the OAA Red Division home win. Delaney Kenny chipped in with five points and eight rebounds for Clarkston (3-1, 1-0 OAA Red). Sabrina Douglas had eight points for Avondale (3-3, 0-2).

ROCHESTER 63, FARMINGTON 62: Rochester climbed back over the five-hundred mark with this narrow win over the visiting Falcons. Zhana Randolph scored 16 points for Rochester (3-2, 2-1). Aaron Howell scored 28 points for Farmington (0-5, 0-3).

ROCHESTER HILLS CHRISTIAN 47, LAPEER FAITH HOME SCHOOL 32:
Ashley Parker led Rochester Hills Christian with 18 points, eight rebounds and six blocks in this non-league victory Tuesday. Jenna Porter had 15 points, nine rebounds and six steals, while. Kindra Armitage chipped in with six points and four assists for the Eagles.

CLARKSTON EVEREST COLLEGIATE 56, ROCHESTER HILLS LUTHERAN NORTHWEST 26: Everest climbed to 3-1 overall with this lopsided non-league win over the Crusaders. Lucia Westrick scored 20 points with 15 rebounds, while Mary Jo Ellen and Claire Lasceski added eight points apiece for the Mountaineers. Kate Irwin led Northwest (1-3) with eight points.

OXFORD 51, BIRMINGHAM GROVES 39: Host Oxford cruised to this OAA White Division win over the Maples behind Jessica Murphy’s 22 points and nine rebounds. Shelby Davis added 11 points for Oxford (4-1, 4-0). Jordan Blackwell scored 12 points and Shauntai Gram added 11 points for Groves (0-4, 0-2).
