THURSDAY’S GIRLS BASKETBALL: RHC downs Lake Orion Baptist; Springfield routs Immanuel Christian
ROCHESTER HILLS — Jenna Porter was one-woman wrecking crew Thursday night.
The sophomore from Rochester Hills Christian pumped in 28 points to go along with 11 rebounds and six steals, as the Eagles rolled past visiting Lake Orion Baptist in FBAC girls basketball play.
Sophomore Ashley Parker added 15 points, nine rebounds and three blocks, while junior Kindra Armitage followed with 10 points for the Eagles (3-1).
Jenna Porter had 28 points and 11 rebounds and 6 steals, Ashley Parker had 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks, and Kindra Armitage had 10 points in the Win.
Breanne Watterworth scored 20 points and 15 rebounds and Noel Streetman had 10 points in a losing effort for the Lions.
CLARKSTON SPRINGFIELD CHRISTIAN 45, CORUNNA IMMANUEL CHRISTIAN 21: Heather Key scored a game-high 27 points to pace the Eagles to the non-league win. Savannah Berlinski chipped in with 10 points for the Eagles.
