PREP BOWLING: Oxford, Harrison roll to split

FARMINGTON — Oxford and Farmington Harrison rolled to a split Wednesday in OAA prep bowling action, with Oxford’s boys team posting a 20-10 victory and Harrison winning the girls match, 16-14, at Country Lanes in Farmington.

Oxford’s boys won both Baker games by 226-151 and 167-161 counts. In singles play, Kevon Dixon posted scores of 236 and 190, while Brady Wynkoop had rounds of 223 and 205 to lead Oxford (4-1-1), which has won four straight.

In the girls meet, Harrison won the first Baker game 172-156, while Oxford rolled the Hawks 213-170 in the second Baker contest.

In singles play, Cailtyn Wroblewski (228), Alyssa Hurlburt (223) and Hannah Farmer (187) all won matches to keep the Wildcats (3-3) within striking range.
