GIRLS BASKETBALL: Oxford rallies past Troy
TROY — Oxford closed with a 14-10 fourth quarter to upend Troy, 45-42, in an OAA crossover girls basketball contest Tuesday.
Jessica Murphy scored 18 with eight rebounds and converted 7-of-9 free throws for Oxford. Miranda Murphy added 11 points and Shelby Davis scored eight for the Wildcats (8-1).
Rachael Zelmanski scored 19 points and Nicole Niemiec added 12 points for the Colts.
Troy led 5-2 after the first quarter and 20-16 at the half. The Colts still led 32-31 entering the final quarter.
