COLLEGE WOMEN’S SOCCER: Hamad’s two goals lifts Olivet College past Rochester College, 2-1

PONTIAC — Amber Hamnad came off the bench and scored two goals Wednesday and that was enough to lead the Olivet College women’s soccer team to a 2-1 victory over host Rochester College at the Ultimate Soccer Arenas.

Mary Lamp assisted on both goals with Gusty Kummer also drawing an assist for Olivet College, which posted a 19-6 shot edge. Kori Ramirez made three saves for Olivet (3-0-0).

Sarah Economeas scored in the 73rd minute for Rochester College (0-5-0), but the Warriors could not net the equalizer. Cheyanne Daniels made 10 saves for Rochester.
