COLLEGE MEN’S SOCCER: Hicklin’s OT marker lifts Rochester College past UMD

PONTIAC — It took over 108 minutes of work, but Rochester College was able to defeat UM-Dearborn, 2-1, in overtime Wednesday in a non-conference men’s soccer match at the Ultimate Soccer Arenas.

Nate Hicklin netted the game-winner off assists from Joey Beshara and Anthony Goucher for the Warriors (3-1-0).

Alek Vasilevski gave UMD (3-1-0) a 1-0 lead in the 19^th minute, connecting with Evan Behrendt and finishing off a close-range shot.

The lead stood until the 5^th minute, when Goucher scored unassisted for Rochester College.

Ryan St. John and Alex Brown combined for five saves in goal for RC, while Andrew Pietrzak made eight saves for UMD.
