PONTIAC — It took over 108 minutes of work, but Rochester College was able to defeat UM-Dearborn, 2-1, in overtime Wednesday in a non-conference men’s soccer match at the Ultimate Soccer Arenas.

Nate Hicklin netted the game-winner off assists from Joey Beshara and Anthony Goucher for the Warriors (3-1-0).

Alek Vasilevski gave UMD (3-1-0) a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute, connecting with Evan Behrendt and finishing off a close-range shot.soccer - field under the lights

The lead stood until the 5th minute, when Goucher scored unassisted for Rochester College.

Ryan St. John and Alex Brown combined for five saves in goal for RC, while Andrew Pietrzak made eight saves for UMD.
