WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Spring Arbor rallies past Rochester College
ROCHESTER HILLS — After trailing 31-28 at the half, Spring Arbor outscored host Rochester College 32-22 in the second half to post a 60-53 non-conference women’s basketball victory at Rochester High.
Carlie Newman scored 25 with 12 rebounds to pace Spring Arbor, while Karly Bender added 13 points.
Rachel Smith scored 15, making 7-of-11 field goals, to lead Rochester College. Ke’ala Ka’aikala added 11 points for the Warriors, who held a 33-27 edge on the boards.
