Four local prep football stars were chosen to play in the inaugural Michigan-Ohio Border Classic football contest, slated for June 14 at the University of Findlay.

The classic will pit some of Michigan’s top senior prospects against some of the top graduating seniors from Ohio. The contest replaces the MHSFCA East-West All-Star Game, which was an all-Michigan-based players affair.

Amongst this year’s Michigan roster are Clarkston’s David Beedle, Ian Eriksen and Nick Mattich, along with Brandon Keen of Waterford Our Lady of the - tackle
