BASEBALL The Oxford Wildcats Gold 10U Federation Baseball Team of the NOBF is holding tryouts on Sunday, July 20. The tryouts will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Seymour Lake Park Diamond No. 3 in Oxford Twp. Sign in take place from 9:45-10 a.m. The team will play in minimum of 22 league games and will compete in 3-4 tournaments. Players will be evaluated on the following: pitching, catching, infield, outfield, batting, base running, baseball knowledge, attention, listening skills and the player’s ability to be coached. Athletes wishing to try out must bring shirt with name on back, copy of birth certificate (must be 10 or under as of April 30, 2015), pants, sunscreen, energy snack and water.
