STATE: 26th at D-1 state finals (19 points).
KEY RETURNEEES: Darwin Hsu, jr. (breaststroke, freestyles, relays; state placer in 200 IM, breaststroke); Gary Vick, sr. (breaststroke and print freestyler); Alex Gervais, sr. (butterfly, breaststroke); Tyler Garling, soph., (sprint freestyler, backstroke); TJ Petrinko, soph. (sprint freestyler).
KEY NEWCOMERS: Andrew Britton, fr. (breaststroke, sprint freestyler, IM); Kenny Cao, fr. (backstroke, distance freestyler).
KEY LOSSES: Will Gombos, (11th in state in 100 backstroke); Zack Hattey, Bryan Jones, Gabe Schmidt, Chris Schmidt.
NOTABLES: Klinger replaces veteran Dale Rahn, who retired after coaching the Red Hawks since the early 1970s when the school opened; The Red Hawks return half of their big-meet point scorers, but have added some talented freshmen prospects to help fill the void.
