FARMINGTON HILLS Oxford continued its first trek through the OAA bowling circles Tuesday with a pair of wins over Troy at Drakeshire Lanes in Farmington Hills.

The Wildcats won the girls match 21-9 and followed that up with a 27-3 victory on the boys side.

The Oxford girls armed with a 10-point lead cruised to a victory in Game 1 of the head-up match. Winning points in Match 1 were Caitlyn Wroblewski (146), Alex Logan (126), Walters with a nice (202) and Lafnear (170). This made the score 18-1 and wrapped up the match for Oxford (3-0, 3-0).

Oxford’s boys had little problems with Troy, which graduated five of its top six players from a year ago. The Wildcats took the first Baker game 148-121 and followed that up with a 204-141 triumph in the second Baker game to take a commanding lead in the match, 10-0.

In Match play, Oxford’s won 4-of-5 matches.
