The 6-foot-4 shooting guard led The Summit League with 2.7 three-pointers made per game and he finished the season with 94, fourth-best in single-season school history. That mark ranks tied for 13th in league history and he finished No. 9 in the country with a .443 three-point field goal percentage, also fourth-best in single-season school history.
Bader averaged 10.5 points per game for the Golden Grizzlies and was named to The Summit League All-Newcomer Team. Joining him on the Mid-Major Freshmen All-American Team from The Summit League was South Dakota State’s Jordan Dykstra and Oral Roberts’ Steven Roundtree.
Bader reached double figures in 18 of 35 games played as a redshirt freshman and tallied 20 points or more on one occasion. He drained five or more treys in seven games and became just the second OU freshman to reach double figures in his collegiate debut in the Division I era, scoring 15 points at West Virginia on Nov. 12.
