BOYS SWIMMING: Holly glides by Swartz Creek, 105-80; Seaholm swamps Clarkston
HOLLY — In a Flint Metro League-opening boys swimming meet, Holly won 10 of 12 events to claim the first victory for first year for head coach Jeff Wiseman.
Holly was led by Aaron DeHaven, who recorded a win in the 200 IM in a state-meet qualifying time, and also won the 100 backstroke (57.14).
Garret Pinagel was a winner in two individual events, touching first in both the 50 free and 100 free. Parker Cuthbert chipped in with his first career individual win in the 100 breaststroke, Carmain Risi won the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle
DeHaven, Pinagel,Parker Cuthbert and Carmain risi all combined for a pair of relays wins for the Bronchos (1-2, 1-0).
