GIRLS VOLLEYBALL REGIONALS: WOLL rolls past Cardinal Mooney
BIRMINGHAM — Many hands make light work.
Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes’ girls volleyball team spread the wealth around Tuesday and that led to a 25-23, 25-11 and 25-21 sweep of Marine City Cardinal Mooney.
Senior setter Haley Howell set up an array of attackers and finished with 29 assists to, six digs, three kills and two blocks.
Freshman Courtney Wightman slammed 10 kills, seven digs and recorded three blocks, Angela Ludlow finished with five kills and four aces and junior Allison Samulon picked up eight kills for the Lakers (35-11-2).
