COLLEGE MEN’S BASKETBALL: Rochester College stymies Reedemer

ROCHESTER HILLS — Rochester College continued to impress on the hardcourt Wednesday afternoon.

The nationally-ranked Warriors built a 23-point halftime cushion at Rochester High School and cruised to a 73-46 non-conference victory over Redeemer College.

Rochester College, which moved to 17-3 overall on the season, led 46-23 at the break and outscored Redeemer 27-23 over the final 20 minutes.

Drew Maynard scored a game-high 19 points with four steals to lead the Warriors. Dramell Hogan added 12 points and Brad Norman tossed in 11 points for Rochester College.

Chris Turnbull was Redeemer’s only player to reach double figures with 10 points. Chris McFadden added nine points and Phil Hart scored eight for the visitors.
