COLLEGE MEN’S BASKETBALL: Second-half surge propels Rochester University past Northwestern Ohio

LIMA, Ohio — After trailing the University of Northwestern Ohio by two points at the half, Rochester University turned the tables in the second half in a 70-56 WHAC triumph.

The Warriors (4-1, 2-0) outscored UNWO 38-22 in the second half.

Diego Robinson came off the bench to lead RU with 19 points and 14 rebounds.

Virgil Walker followed with 16 points, nine rebounds and two blocked shots. Noah Holly added 10 points and five rebounds, Andrew Kline had nine points and three assists for the Warriors.

Rochester held a 38-28 edge in rebounding and held Northwestern Ohio to just 37.9 shooting (25-for-66) from the floor.
