Stateline Christian bounces Rochester Hills in MACS sectional finals
TEMPERANCE — Rochester Hills Christian faced Temperance Stateline Christian in the season-opening Springfield Christian Tip-Off Classic back in December. The Eagles’ state tournament run ended against the same Patriots Monday evening.
Robert Troutman finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds in leading host Stateline Christian to a 62-47 victory over Rochester hills Christian in a Michigan Association of Christian Schools Division I boys basketball sectional final.
Stateline Christian (14-14) will face Burt Lake Northern Michigan Christian at 7 p.m. Friday in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Friday at Clarkston Springfield Christian.
Todd Gardiner had 10 points and Daniel Ellerbrock had six points and six assists for Stateline Christian.
DJ Szydlowski finished with 14 points and Nathan Simon added 13 points for Rochester Hills Christian.
