MONDAY’S LACROSSE ROUNDUP: Sharkey scores five as Clarkston blats Athens
CLARKSTON — Clarkston may be a division lower than Troy Athens when it comes to OAA girls lacrosse. On Monday, the Wolves were definitely in a league of their own.
Sophomore Lauren Sharkey led an onslaught of scoring, tallying five goals in a 19-7 OAA crossover win Monday over the visiting Red Hawks.
Quinn Dabrowski also got heavily involved in the scoring act, adding four goals, while both Stephanie Dellinger and Danielle Dunn each had three goals for Clarkston (2-0-0).
Becca Chen had six goals for Athens (3-2-0).

LAKE ORION 5, TROY 4: Nick Diponio scored three goals tohelp Lake Orion post this OAA White Division win over the visiting Colts. Robert Aiello added a goal and an assist, while Nick Kinsler netted 10 saves in goal for Lake Orion (5-2, 1-0).
