BOYS LACROSSE: Clarkston puts Eisenhower in the net

SHELBY TOWNSHIP — Clarkston continued its best start in school history, moving to 8-1-0 following Saturday’s 8-5 boys lacrosse victory over host Utica Eisenhower.

Kevin Horton scored five of the eight Clarkston goals. Sam Moore, Travis Craft and Alexander Dziewit added single tallies for the Wolves, while Dziewit and Jordan Kincaid added assists.

Matt Goebel picked up the win in goal with seven saves.

CLARKSTON 10, ROCHESTER UNITED 8: Clarkston remained near the top of the OA Red Division standings Friday with this narrow win over Rochester United, which won the OAA-White crown last season to move up to the OAA Red Division.

Kevin Horton and Kevin O’Grady  both finished with three goals each while O’Grady and Alexander Dziewit finished with two assists each.

Matt Goebel saved 13 of 21 shots for Clarkston.
