Troy routs Rochester; Notre Dame Prep, Avondale roll
TROY — Jason Leslie scored twice and Troy scored early and often in a 5-0 boys soccer victory over Rochester.
Ian Fox, AJ Kalina and Steven Schmidt also scored for Troy (10-1-0, 5-1-0), while Fox also had an assist. Matt Smolinski, Craig Duggan and Andrew Farran shared the Colts’ ninth shutout. Rochester lost its second straight game and fell to 1-3-4 overall and 0-3-2 in conference play.

PONTIAC NOTRE DAME PREP 4, ORCHARD LAKE ST. MARY’S 0: Visiting Notre Dame Prep remained in the top half of the CHSL AA Division with this shutout win Tuesday over host St. Mary’s at the Ultimate Soccer Arenas. Connor Smith scored twice, Zach Mantau added a goal and an assist and Ryan Pierce scored the other goal for Notre Dame Prep (5-7-0, 4-2-0). Charlie Felker and Francesco Munaco combined for seven saves in goal for the shutout.
AUBURN HILLS AVONDALE 5, BIRMINGHAM GROVES 3: Erik Koberstein had two goals and an assist to lead Avondale to the OAA White Division victory Tuesday. Nate Chapman and Brad Perry added a goal and an assist each for the Yellowjackets (6-3-1, 4-3-1). Garrett Ritterhaus, Alex Lurz and Mitch Kontaerv scored for Groves (5-10-0, 3-5-0).
ROCHESTER ADAMS 1, BLOOMFIELD HILLS LAHSER 0: Adams remained in a first-place tie in the OAA Red Divison standings with this road win over the Knights. Alex Tzonev scored the goal and Dylan Knott had the assists for Adams (7-3-1, 5-1-0).
ROCHESTER STONEY CREEK 2, NOVI DETROIT CATHOLIC CENTRAL 1: The Cougars stepped outside of OAA Red Division play Monday to post this road win.
