Oxford’s Line a Mr. Football finalist

OXFORD — Oxford senior running back-linebacker Prescott Line is a finalist for the 2011 Mr. Football award, given annually to one senior football player in Michigan by State Champs TV and MetroPCS.

Line joins Ann Arbor Skyline QB Andrew Copp, Novi Detroit Catholic Central OT-DT Matt Godin, Farmington Harrison senior WR-RB Aaron Burbridge, Ann Arbor Pioneer RB Drake Johnson, Detroit King RB Dennis Norfleet, Lowell QB Gabe Dean, Warren DeLaSalle QB Shane Morris, Lansing Catholic Central QB Cooper Rush and Orchard Lake St. Mary’s LB James Ross as the 10 finalists.

Fans can help have a say in the winner, and can vote daily at http://www.statechamps.tv/mrfootball/index.asp?err=1 There is a limit of one vote per 24 hours.

At the end of the regular season, the top vote getter will advance to the Final Four, along with three other players with substantial stats and success, as selected by State Champs TV.

The winner will be announced after the conclusion of the 2011 postseason.
