RC’s Bartling earns All-America status

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Rochester College’s Kristopher Bartling is one of nine golfers named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-America Men’s Golf Team.

Golf All-American awards were issued to the Top 7 finishers at the USCAA Golf National Championship. Due to a five-player tie for fourth place, nine All-American awards have been awarded this year.

Barlting tied for fourth at the national tournament, firing a two-day total of 150, which was six over par.

Tommy Stirling of Southern Maine Community College was named Player of the Year after capturing the national championship last onth with a four-under, two-day totl of 140 at the national tournament.
