Oakland’s Balogh Honored on CollegeSports360.com

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – Oakland’s Vanessza Balogh was honored by CollegeSports360.com on the Primetime Performers Weekly Honor Roll for the week of Feb. 13-19. Balogh won the Women’s Swimmer of the Championships at the 2012 Summit League Swimming and Diving Championships leading Oakland to its 13^th consecutive league championship.

Balogh earned NCAA ‘B’ qualifying times in the 400-yard individual medley (4:16.34) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:53.36).  She also successfully defended her title in the 1,650-free with a time of 16:40.98 and set the school record in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:14.87) during an exhibition swim.  Balogh was a member of the league-record setting 400-free relay team that earned an NCAA ‘B’ qualifying time (3:23.89), the pool-record setting 400-medley relay team (3:42.86) and the winning 800-free relay team (7:33.03).
