BASEBALL: Lancers drub league-leading Plymouth Christian

PLYMOUTH — Auburn Hills Oakland Christian tallies Plymouth Christian in the MIAC Red Division standings. The Lancers did make a statement Monday that the they pan on staying in the hunt for the conference title.

Oakland Christian blasted league-leading Plymouth Christian, 18-6, to move to 6-1 in league play. Plymouth Christian is 7-1.

Josh Crane struck out seven in six innings earning the win.  Luke Combs was 3-for-4 with 4 RBI, Jacob Vandervenent had two doubles and two RBI and Rob Carson had a double and scored a run  for Oakland Christian (8-4, 6-1), which is off to its best start in several years.
