GIRLS GOLF: Holly slips past Clio; Andover sinks Athens
GROVELAND TWP — Led by Alex Johnson’s round of 45, Holly slipped past Clio 195-201 Wednesday in a Flint Metro League girls golf match at Heather Highlands.
Paige Johnson followed with a 46, while Taylor Turner also carded a 46 and Landy hill a 58 for the Bronchos (1-0, 1-0).
Ayla Bogie shot a 41 for Clio, while Karsen Johnston (49), Angie Fournieur (54) and Elizabeth Hoose (57) followed suit for the Tigers (1-1, 0-1).
