BASEBALL: Stoney Creek slams Utica Ford
ROCHESTER HILLS — Rochester Stoney Creek jumped on Utica Ford with five runs over the first three innings and cruised from there in a 10-1 on-league baseball win Monday.
Kyle Walsh got the win on the mound, going five strong innings with six hits four walks and three strikeouts.
Kyle Schweiger belted a home run amongst his three hits and drove in three runs to lead the Cougars attack. Stoney Creek (4-2) amassed 12 hits on the day.
Dave Michalski was 2-for-4 for Ford.
