Cabrini hands WOLL first loss of the season
WATERFORD — Allen Park Cabrini handed defending Class D state champion Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes its first loss of the Monday, posting a 47-33 CHSL A-East victory.
Cabrini opened up with an 11-5 lead only to see Lakes outscore the cougars by the same amount for a 16-16 tie at the half.
Cabrini broke the game open with a 13-4 run int eh third quarter and outscored WOLL 31-17 in the second half.
Lauren Robak scored 15 to lead Waterford Our Lady (6-1).
Ann Marie Zylla scored 11 for Cabrini, while Danielle Lollo and Molly Chopple both added 12 points for Cabrini (5-3).
