Jaguars hold off Mountaineers
CLARKSTON — West Bloomfield Jewish Academy built a 23-10 halftime lead Tuesday and hung on for a 29-28 CHSL victory over Clarkston Everest Collegiate in CHSL Tri-Sectional play.
Everest clawed back into the game with a 15-4 run in the third quarter to close to within 27-2.
Michael Schecter scored and Josh Sider scored eight apiece and Jesse Medina added seven points for Jewish Academy (5-5, 4-4).
Richie Cross scored 13 of his team’s 28 points and Donald Allen and Ben Marcial added six points each for the Mountaineers (6-4, 5-4).
