ROCHESTER HILLS — Rochester College is headed east.

The Warriors have qualified for the United States Collegiate Athletic Association World Series. The Small College World Series, a 10-school tournament will take place May 14-18 at The Ballpark in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.

Rochester College, coached by Jordan Ackerman, has been ranked in the top 10 all season and has a win over Division I Oakland University on its resume, will open with a game against Southern Maine C.C. on Saturday.

A win will send the Warriors into the second round against Southern Virginia in the top half of the bracket, or against the loser of the Spalding-Penn State-Greater Allegheny contest in the consolation bracket.

The Warriors enter the national tournament ranked 10th in the nation.
