FLINT — Offensive production has been hard to come by for Lake Orion’s girls soccer program in the rugged OAA Red Division this season.  The Dragons found some of that old magic Saturday in winning the Cavaliers Classic at Flint Carman-Ainsworth.

Lake Orion outscored its two opponents 7-0 on the day to earn a pair of wins and earn the first championship of the campaign for the Dragons.

The Dragons toppled Saginaw Valley Lutheran (3-0) and host Flint Carman-Ainsworth (4-0).

Alyssa Wesley scored from Hallie Burns, Abby Lennox scored from MacKenzie Blust, and Katie Rholfs from Megan Malloy in the semifinal victory over Valley Lutheran.

In the championship game against Carman-Ainsworth, Megan Malloy scored twice, while Maddie Hutchison and Rholfs also scored for the Dragons.
