Wolves set school wins mark in winning Andover Tournament title

BLOOMFIELD HILLS — Clarkston established a new school record for wins in a season Saturday, as the Wolves finished unbeaten at the Bloomfield  Hills Andover Tournament.

Clarkston finished 6-0-0 on the day and beat Grosse Pointe North in three games in the finals, 25-15, 25-15, 25-19.

The six wins gave Clarkston a 49-5-1 record on the season, eclipsing the 48-4-1 ledger set last season. Last season’s record included five wins in the state tournament and a berth in the Class A state quarterfinals.

Stephanie Marani led the Wolves with 42 kills and 15 blocks. Maddie Lightfoot added seven aces and 52 digs and Kaley Konjarevich picked up 41 kills and 15 aces on the day.
