Inter-City Baptist rallies past Lutheran Northwest
ROCHESTER HILLS — Allen Park Inter-city Baptist used an 18-9 run in the third quarter to gain control and eventually posted a 54-48 MIAC Blue Division boys basketball victory over Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest.
Mike Siema scored a game-high 26 points, canning five 3-pointers and going 3-for-3 from the foul line, to pace the Chargers. Jim Kraatz scored 14 and Rick Packwood scored 10 for the Chargers, who held a 34-24 edge in the second half.
Nathan Drews and Gursher Rathor both scored 14 and Josh Morrison added seven points for Northwest (3-2, 0-1). The Crusaders led 12-5 after the first quarter and 24-20 at the half but could not hold onto the lead.
