ROCHESTER HILLS — Rochester grabbed bragging rights from rival Rochester Adams Saturday with a 9-4 OAA White Division girls lacrosse victory.

Freshman Jessica Leininger’s 4 goals led the Falcons (5-1, 2-0), who led 5-3 at halftime before holding Adams (4-3) scoreless in the final 22 minutes.

Rochester’s scoring was rounded out by Kylie Gray with one goal and two assists, while one goal each from Katie Krako, Jordin Pardoski, Samantha Blair and Natalie Prisciandaro had single goals for the Falcons.

Aly Rosenau had nine saves and Kirsten Laux led an outstanding defensive for Rochester.

SAGINAW HERITAGE 10, OXFORD 8: EmmaKimmel scored three goals in the losing effort for Oxford. Madi Eschberger and Kayce Calcaterra scored two goals apiece, while Riley Hayes had the other goals for the Wildcats.

“We played sloppily on both sides of the ball. We were either hot or cold. Saginaw Heritage played a solid game and for us the consistency just wasn’t there tonight,” said Oxford coach Matt Bausack. “This game will be a good learning experience for us.”
