SATURDAY’S BOYS LACROSSE: Clarkston edges Okemos in overtime

CLARKSTON — Clarkston continued one of its best starts in school history, posting an 11-10 overtime victory Saturday over visiting Okemos in a non-league boys lacrosse match.

The Wolves (9-2-0) outscored the Chieftains 1-0 in the extra session to prevail.

The two teams were tied 6-6 at the half, 8-8through three quarters of play and 10-10 at the end of regulation.

Kevin Horton and Reid Kaminski both scored three goals to lead Clarkston. Travis Draft added two goals, while Jordan Kincaid, Kevin O’Grady and Sam Moore also scored for the Wolves.

Nick Demattia, Ethan Frick, Evan Kneisel, A.J. Schlaff and Preston Haven had a combined total of 15 ground balls and eight takeaways for Clarkston.
