FOOTBALL: Adams, Avondale, Oakland Christian, Notre Dame Prep all post victories

ROCHESTER HILLS — For the first time this season, Rochester Adams has strung together a win streak.

The Highlanders won for the second straight, downing North Farmington 35-0 Friday in an OAA White Division football game.

Ben Hart scored on runs of 20 and 30 yards to lead Adams. Clarence Broadnax added a 53-yard sprint, while Matt Sokol had two touchdown passes, one a 24-yard dart to C.J. Borglin and another a 50-yard heave to Jack Twitty for Adams (3-5, 3-4).

Britt Skinner had all five extra points for the Highlanders.

North Farmington slipped to 2-6 overall and 1-6 in league play.

AUBURN HILLS AVONDALE 37, BLOOMFIELD HILLS LAHSER 20: Avondale clinched at least second place in the OAA blue Division with this victory Friday.

Avondale (7-1, 6-1) u a 23-7 lead at the half before holding a 14-13 edge in the second half to down the Knights.

Michal Johnson chalked up 174 yards on 20 carries and Chase Lalla helped lead balanced running game with 140 yards on nine carries for Avondale, which chalked up 412 rushing yards. Spencer Smith added 69 yards on 10 rushes and also had 89 passing yards for the Yellowjackets.

Johnson scored on runs of 9 and 11 yards, Lalla added a 62-yard run and Smith scored on runs of 4 and 2 yards for Avondale. Julian Pepaj added a 27-yard field goal and made three extra points and Kyle Siroka had another for Avondale.

Johnson and Mitch Williams both had seven tackles for Avondale.

Jeff Gracy caught passes of 6 and 80 yards from Spencer McCourt for Lahser. Mike Reynolds added a 6-yard TD catch for the Knights (5-3, 5-2).

AUBURN HILLS OAKLAND CHRISTIAN 49, DEARBORN STAR INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY 0: After opening up the season with a win over Hamtramck via forfeit, the Lancers finally gained a win on the field after six straight losses.

The Lancers opened with a 16-0 first quarter run to set the tone and defeat Star  International for the second straight season. Oakland Christian (2-6 outscored their guests 6-0 in the second quarter for a 22-0 halftime lead, then went on a 27-0 scoring
Ryan Kostich had touchdown catches of 30 and 50 yards and added a 40-yard touchdown run for the Lancers. Gabe Rellinger chipped in a 5-yard TD sprint, while Stephen Nichols had TD catches of 27 and 10 yards.

Josh Rupright added a 3-yard scoring run, Chris Polite was 5-for-7 on extra points and recorded a safety, and Javarian Smith had four touchdown passes for Oakland Christian, which amassed over 400 yards of offense.

PONTIAC NOTRE DAME PREPARATORY 29 LIVONIA CLARENCEVILLE 7: Chalk up 21 straight regular season victories for Notre Dame Prep.

The Fighting Irish opened up with a 14-0 first quarter and cruised past the Trojans in a non-conference game Friday.

Jermaih Johnson scored on a 2-yard run and returned a punt 67 yards for another score to lead NDP (8-0), who last lost a regular season game in Week 5 of the 2010 season.

Anthony Gunn added a 23-yard touchdown catch and a 20-yard reception for another score, while Brendan Newvine added a safety. Joe Kutil had two touchdown passes and Taylor Timko was 3-for-4 on extra points for the Irish, who led 29-0 early in the fourth quarter.

James Hill had a 26-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter for Clarenceville (5-3).
